Ithaca Partners’ core service is in providing executive search for our clients. That is a rigorous process tailored specifically for each client and their needs. While each search is slightly different, each is also underpinned by:

  • a labour-intensive, thorough base of research and market mapping;
  • mining of source and contact information;
  • interviewing, reference taking and assessment;
  • accurate, ‘warts and all’ report writing; and
  • detailed help to you as you make your choice of the right candidate and negotiate for them to join your organisation.

That is accompanied by regular (minimum weekly) reporting to you as the search is progressing. More detail on what form the various stages of this work take can be provided or discussed with you. We strive to make sure that the accusation about the search firm ‘disappearing into a black box process’ is never levelled at Ithaca Partners.

The ongoing search work gives us a birds-eye view of the market places in which we operate. Our perspective and advice is often sought by clients and candidates – sometimes formally in project form, and often informally on an ongoing basis during a search. As well as providing core executive search, our market knowledge gives us an ability to help clients with:

  • candidate benchmarking – including processes involving internal candidates who need to be objectively assessed
  • salary surveys
  • interim placements/maternity cover
  • career guidance to individuals leaving client organisations
